I remember buying the comic book that had the 1st appearance of War Machine! Musta been 1992…1993?

James “Rhodey” Rhodes first appeared in 1979. The first appearance of the War Machine suit was 1992 if I remember correctly. But between Rhodes first appearance and the appearance of the War Machine armor (also known as the Variable Threat Response Battle Suit) he donned on the Iron Man suit in Tony's stead at least 2 times to my remembered

I have always really liked the character of War Machine. There were a few times I got disinterested in him…such as when he got the Eidolon Warwear and relatively recently when they made him more machine than man
