Hey everybody I belong to a car club that deals with hearses and ambulances. Well i got an email the other day about a 59 caddy hearse/ambulance for sale. So if anybody wants to show intrest let me know i'll pass the owner email address to you. Well heres the email and then i post some pics i got a lot so i wont post all of them.
“It runs and drives exactly like what it is: Brand new. Brought it back the 40 miles from Wasilla to my home in Anchorage at 70mph and it floats like a dream. Turn signals and wipers didn't work but they did when I gave it up so may just be fuse? Needs a new ignition switch and electric fuel pump but other then those minor things is ready for everyday driving. Total exterior body work in prep for final paint would be a weeks work. Entire interior was stripped in prep to sand blast and is sitting in the back as templates to renew. Door panels have all chrome attached.
This vehicle is not just in good condition. It has 5 new Michelin Xs. Eduardo cyclone wheels. 6way power leather seat. 30gal gas tank. Water injectors. Dual batteries. etc. etc. etc. I was rich and building as a touring camper, custom low rider. No expense was spared. Along came divorce and vindictive ex who parked it outside for 8 years. It was very well prepped though and the years didn't do that much damage.
Last 59s went for $6000 on eBay. They needed total rebuilds. This one is 80% to 90% done. I am wanting $15 to $20K as is, where is. Anchorage, Alaska.
Pictures are of the vehicle as it is today. There was no attempt made to cover anything up or even clean it up for better presentation. I live my life with rigorous honesty. Ask me any question about the vehicle or the pictures by number and I will tell you the God's honest truth about it. I want to keep in touch with this vehicle which was such a part of my life and very sanity. Think of the time, effort, energy and money that it would take to rebuild this machine to the condition it is already in and I think you will see it is a bargain at today's prices”

If you want more pics let me know I'll post some more, like glass shots. All the glass looks like theres no cracks expessly the curved glass. I would maybe buy this car but its to damn far and its to damn high.
