I found it funny at the end of the last video that Ray and Egon were all panicking (lack of a better word) that Slimer had escaped from the ECU and Peter kind of was like “whatever” and went to go play an Arcade game….lol

Murray did a fine job delivering his lines. I don't know how much he changed them from the original script but he's very funny in this.
Venkman is much more quippy here than he was in the original films.

Are we really adding spoiler tags?
Well this new favorite exchange of mine is gonna absolutely ruin your day.

Stantz: So did you catch the little spud?
Venkman: Mashed potatoes now. Your cadet had to…straighten him out.
Ray, we need to have a heart to blob talk with this one or we're
going to have discipline issues when he's a teenager.

So all the cinematics we've seen are final? The reason I ask is, there are several errors that have been pointed out in the last few months, such as:

The omission of the twin towers.
Venkman's appearing then disappearing alice frame in the opening scene.
The rookie holding the neutrona wand by the nozzle instead of the grip in the elevator scene.
Some of the lights on top of Ecto-1B.
The red lights on the cyclotron not revolving properly in the Stay Puft scene.

I understand that this is nitpicker stuff (heck there are errors in the actual movies), but these mistakes have been known for quite some time. I would have thought they'd be corrected prior to release.

If you understood how games were developed and manufactured then you would fully understand the errors in this game and others.

There is a long lead time when it comes to finishing a game. Cinematics take months to make and up to a week just to render. If a mistake is made, then they would have to repeat the process, and sometimes you just have no time left. If a cinematic has to be sent back for rerendering or re animating, that can mean a new contract so that would mean new negotiations, etc etc.

You have to hit certain dates in order to properly test the game. I haven't been working on the game in about a month, and I'm one of the last artists to touch it.

It's all priorities, and in the end, those details just weren't important enough compared to other issues.

No one* will notice the cyclotron lights.
No one* will notice the alice frame.
No one* will notice will notice the rookie holding the wand. (even though this is a valid way to hold it when not firing.)
No one* will notice the twin towers.

*No one meaning the general public. You guys have watched the videos frame by frame and actually know things the general public will not know. This is what makes you super fans of the franchise.
Hell, the general public is still wanting to know if it's all the original voices and if Winston is in the game.

he makes a very good point with that one. every video ive watched so far has at at least one person's comment asking about winston … even if he's actually in that video …

Want to know something crazy?

I have friends my age, and even some game developers that haven't even seen the movies.

They just know ‘It’s that movie where they catch ghosts, right?'

And these are people that play videogames, into 80s cartoons, etc.
