It would be much appreciated if someone provided the answers to the following questions. barring that, speculation is just as good.

1) How will the containment unit look in the comic? will it be huge like RGB, or small like in the movie, or somewhere in between?

2) In both movies, and both cartoons, there was a catalyst for all the paranormal activity. in GB1 it was the coming of gozer, in GB2 it was the psychokinetic slime, in RGB it was the doomsday door, and it seems that without some kind of event like that, the amount of psychokinetic energy in New York is relatively low(See “Twinkie, That's a big”). So, what I'm wondering is, what will be the catalyst, if any, in the comic?

1) All of the equipment will be based off the first movie.

2) I'm really not sure about this one, but I think the comic will more focus on their day-to-day regular busts, and for the most part won't involve all-powerful deities and the like (although they may make appearances for special stories and such).

1.) As Dan said, all of the equipment will look exactly as it did in the first movie. However, the Ecto Containment Unit was destroyed in the first movie. So we may or may not see a slightly bigger, and modified ECU.
