Why do I have the feeling they won't include a game pack with the rookie? While I would like to get the rookie, he doesn't make me want the subscription. Again. I'll wait and pick him up on one of their later sales, which i'm sure they'll have.

And what's up with the Taxi Cab ghost being with two different figures? Is he the new slimer? Release him with about 5 different figures? Maybe give him a tongue on one of them?

It is kind of astounding to me that people aren't thinking that the Taxi Cab Ghost is just a typo. I'm sure he won't come with both figures. He'll probably come with RTBY Venkman. The Rookie will come with something else.

And obviously, you're entitled to not sign up for the subscription if you don't want to, but keep in mind MM Ray hasn't been made available in any later sales, nor will he be. The Club Exclusives are simply that… exclusives. They aren't released again.

Really guys? If he's not a typo (which I hope he isn't) then it probably means “build-a-figure” like they do with the DC figs (which I'm hoping for – kinda wish we got bigger Grey Lady and Scoleri).

Well, that's an interesting concept… and I know that the pages are incomplete right now, but I think if it was “build-a-figure” it would say so. It does on the Voltron page for that sub's BAF.

Slimer is different though. He's THE ghost of Ghostbusters. Yea, they reused him, and it's definitely possible they'll reuse other ghosts, but given that all of the MOTUC details have changed since the posting of the subs, and given that the person editing the Ghostbusters one still didn't remove “OTHER?” I think its safe to say there are typos involved.

Now that's definitely possible. I could see them putting out different packs, or releasing The Rookie twice with 2 interchangable packs each time, but yea the exclusive itself won't be released for an additional sale, ever.

I just want to finish off my collection with certain items rather than everything they churn out. I have no interest in the Rookie even though I enjoyed the game. I want to finish of my RTBY guys, another Slimeblower (Ray), Dana, Janine, Zuul, Vigo and I'm done.

I can then set up a few decent Ghostbusters displays that look good, rather than have a 100 figures that just like a mess.

No Sub for me this year.

If they don't announce a great non-Ghostbuster figure at SDCC, I'm going to be very disappointed. I'm just looking for a nice set of the main characters. I didn't even start the RTBY set for that reason. I basically just want one of each of the main characters from each film and then I'm calling it quits. I can't be bothered to buy each of the new figures with only a new head or paint job.

So here's hoping for a good announcement and not another variant. I'm really hoping for Vigo. Maybe the accessory could be the stone/skull stand and a painting backdrop? That would be fantastic.

i just assumed that they knew people wanted that particular ghost,so they were giving people who DON'T want the subscription the opportunity to still get him…

also, they took down the Club Ecto details from matty.com….guess someone jumped the gun and posted it too early?
