Double Feature: 25th Anniversary! GHOSTBUSTERS, 1984, Sony Repertory, 105 min. Dir. Ivan Reitman. Parapsychologists Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd start Ghostbusters, a company that traps ghosts, spirits and other supernatural specters for money. Business starts to pick up when Sigourney Weaver notices strange phenomena in her apartment’s kitchen, such as eggs frying themselves. The entire original cast (including Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd) returns for this anything-goes sequel. This time the guys begin as washed-up has-beens, but they’re called back into action when “bad vibes” accumulate in the city’s sewer system. Rick Moranis, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts also return.
