(*rant) (*spam) Saw it, didn't like it, felt like it over-reached its grasp. Nuff said.

I guess the next film will be 28 months later, then 28 years :p Overall I liked the second film better than the first. I think there is a possibility for a great third movie.

I think… I think this film suffered a lot from Danny Boyle's absence as main director.

One of the main bones of contention I had was when the kids' father ran into the London Underground along with a load of the other infected, how in God's name did he keep managing to track them down? It escaped the realm of possibility for him to still manage to locate them in Central London whilst in a state of frenzy and without any tracking gear to speak of.

It also seemed an immense cockup that they wouldn't block his ID as soon as they knew his relation to the plague carrier that was his wife, it was an accident waiting to happen.

Then of course, there was stuffing all those civilians into something that was supposed to be a safe bunker but could be breached from the outside with the smallest force imaginable…

Hopefully if 28 Months Later does get made, Boyle'll be back on as director.

I think a lot of this was a satire on the American way of doing things

If it'd been anyone else maybe… but I've just never really read much satire into the ‘28’ franchise given how serious it's meant to be.

I agree with LordVego on this. The way the US handles the problem is satire. The US tend to think we can solve the worlds problems…and most of the time fail big time.
