They're good. And the lights definitely add a nice effect. Lots of things that look slightly or way off though. The lenses look like they're a lot longer than they should be for example.

Thanks for blowing mine out of the f'ing water, jerkwad. Just as I was feeling good about myself you had to come along with your amazing ones.

Well played… well played.

Longer for better range, perhaps?

They're not intended to be movie accurate, so yes some things are “way off”. The lenses are a bit longer than an accurate pair would be but that's what helps make them unique.

My apologies, you should always feel good about something you built as long as you know you put your best effort into your project. I don't post my props to shame anyone else (I realize you're sorta joking), there are LOTS of people better than me.

Why, the better to see you with, my dear.

I used plastic welding goggles for the base, arranged the lenses out of PVC fittings, the various knobs are from bottles and, well, things I was saving because they looked like knobs. Then you just add a light system of LED(s) to your liking. If you are interested in the exact process involved, I publish guides and tutorials on my site, http://www.firebladecomics.com and I will expanding that area soon. Or you can email me questions I'm always happy to help or give advice.

Also, here is versions 4:

Version 4 was just sold on Ebay but Version 3 has just been relisted due to a non-paying bidder. I will post the auction in the Selling area on the forum.
