360 not region locked

Almost all other game publishers region lock their games.

Do I take it then that so many copies have now been printed that it would be a huge financial toll to call them back and reprint them locked, Jesse?

Just ordered from DVDboxoffice, went the whole hog and opted for DHL delivery… Just about £50 in total (remember to choose USD as your billing currency, ever so slightly cheaper)

Assuming they ship out on Monday or Tuesday, there's a chance it could be in my hands by the end of the week, or even sooner.

Oh, It would warm my heart to have it in my possession before the PS3 version is even released over here. Take that, Sony!

hmm just a Question here, will ntsc versions run on Eu consoles considering they are Pal ? or is it ntsc and pal the regions themselves im abit confused since i wouldnt want to pay money for something that doesnt work properly on my console.

The whole reason this news has come out is to let people know that it is not regioned locked, therefore you can play the game on any console on any region.

There is still an issue of if it will display properly on your TV though. NTSC TV's have a 60Hz refresh rate while older PAL TV's only have 50Hz.

If you are using a HDTV to play on your 360 then you have nothing to worry about. If you are still using a standard TV though, make sure it is 60Hz refresh rate otherwise you will get a choppy, monocrome picture.

All Wii games are regioned locked. Requirement from Nintendo. There are ways around this though. Not all of them require modding the hardware.

The newer 360s also have this option built into them to be either set at 60Hz or 50.
