Does anyone know if a Sprint 3G/4G wireless modem would work in a 2G region? I am goin to my Grandmother's this month for a weekend and am taking my laptop. She has no internet or wi-fi. Plus my BlackBerry runs on EDGE (2G) at her house.

I can't advise on a Sprint wireless modem, but a while back my Dad got a device like a USB stick which would allow him to connect to the internet at houses which didn't have a modem in situ.
