Yes. Of course. Some movies just go away and die. But at least Ghostbusters has staying power. I agree with you

re-makes are popular in hollywood ( planet of the apes, texas chainsaw, soon to be charlie and the chocolate factory) any one think that they will just wind up remaking the first movie instead of doing a sequal??? i hope not…but you never know

i hope theres a sequel. i still have lots of faith in danny aykroyd. just a little weight loss and rogaine might be in order, but he's still cute to boot. he's also one of the most prolific script writers out there.

bb2k didnt do well because john belushi didnt exactly live to make it. and universal decided to piss on belushi's grave by making aykroyd make it without jim. goodman, the kid and the other guy should not have been in it. also in aykroyd's original script (it is floating around) there were lots of elwood remembering jake and even elwood contemplating jumping off a bridge. universal skrewed the franchise by kiddy-fying a rated r, vulgar movie and turning the sequel into a pg13 kiddy flick. plus they assumed nobody remembers john, so they didn't mention him once. the script however has elwood dealing with his loss. plus marion belushi (older sister) was to cameo as zee's/jake's mother. IT WASN'T DANNY'S FAULT!

did you know venkman was originally belushi's role. face the facts. it was an aykrushi flick that wasnt made soon enough… ::sobs::

i'm totally for gb3. ya know why? danny, billy, harold and co. are good together. you can't lose if the stupid companies will just stay FAR FAR away from aykroyd/ramis's script. and no new characters. bad idea. rehash of same type events and new nemisis only.

you know…ray and winston are the only guys left gal-less. id like to see ray finally get a gal besides ecto-1…lol.

Still, with the 20th anniversary coming up, and the possible release of RGB on DVD (If you haven't voted, VOTE!!!) there could be a chance….

The origional guys are getting older but according to the script Aykroyd wrote that does not matter. Infact this is key to the premise. The old gang will play a supporting role with new GBs.

i will always have faith, i was completely surprised by the fact that lucas decided to make 1-3 (i know 1&2 werent great but i have hiogh hopes for 3) the key to it all is The All Mighty Dollar

age had nothing to do with the GBs getting “newer employees”… it was their success that added people to the team.
