Anyone who is interested in having their own ecto-mobile, you gotta check this out!

I would buy this car myself, but I'm not that comfortable with my financial situation right now. I'd really like to see this car go to a ghosthead! It's got “Ecto-Mobile” written all over it!

Good luck and if anyone buys it, please give updates!

First off can we get a mod to put this in “Marketplace”. Second that isnt a ambulance well part of it is. Its actully a combination which is the correct kind they used in the movies. Im just letting you know that car needs some work and it will cost a lot to fix her up. It will cost you around $1,500 just to replace the front windshield on her. I dont know how the chrome looks but it could be pitted pretty bad and that adds up when u want to replace it. Plus the engine doesnt run so that adds up, you be spending more money fixing it up then you paid for it. Well good luck to anyone who buys it.

I also might note this might go to somebody who wants to restore her and not make it an Ectomobile, theres some people i know who love these cars not just b/c of Gbs. These cars are very very rare more rare then you think. Most of them are in junkyards or your toaster; so people who love professional cars (hearses, ambulances, limos, flower cars) save these cars and restore it to glory. They also dont like it when a Ghosthead buys it and turns into a Ecto.

Well thats too darn bad isn't it :-P I wish I had the money; I'd LOVE my own Ecto-1. Unfortunately, I had to ask my parents to buy me a $0.99 GB Movie Poster, and they wouldn't even spring for the $99 signed one, so no way they'd pay $6,500 for a “Unique fixer-upper oppertunity” (*peter)

its strange, if these vehicles are so rare and collectable why do Sony let them rot in the studio backlots?
