Hmm…..lessee….rap was just picking up, Mike J was the bomb, there used to be a station on cable showing ninja movies, the cartoons were better and the prize everyone wanted was the boombox with the TV built into it and we had no idea what the internet was, much less a computer until the 2nd or 3rd grade.
That's from my point of view anyhow.

let me see. Turtles, Busters, Bush, Cold War, Cable, Nickoloden, Nintendo, Windows 3.1, no more VW Bettle, soft drinks in glass bottles, Batman, Superman, Indiana Jones, Fred the Donut Man, no internet, Commodore 64, and Thundercats.

thats the 80's in a nutshell.

Actually, Windows 3.1 wasn't released until April of ‘92, 3.0 was May ’90. Windows 2.0 was released in fall '87.

And dial up internet existed… for the military in a much more sophisticated form that for the public, but public internet were dial up bulletin board based.
