Just a suggestion, but try wearing about 3 pairs of socks. That could ease the pain a little.

or you could steal some novicane from your dentist smile

as for the sock thing… it could work, or it could make it worse. I wear combat boots every day, with only thin cotten socks on. I went on a hike a few months ago, and put on some boot socks. My feet were killing me at the end of the 5 mile hike. I can easily walk 10 miles with my boots and plain cotten socks. If you can get to a military base, or you know somebody that can, try to get some of the boot insoles from the PX, they feel like carpiting in your boots.

You guys gotta spread this word! heavily moisten one pair or thin socks with ordinary hair conditioner then wear a heavy pair of socks over the moist ones! 2 good things came out of this, my feet dont hurt as nearly as much number one, number 2 my feet & my boots are now “spring time fresh”!smile
im gone.
