Just to resolve the questions should someone else stumble across this topic.

That, is one of two promotional adverts for the Real Ghostbusters the televisual season before Fall 1986. (The first episode would be released September 13th, 1986).

It's likely a ‘episode’ was made for promotional use until a full series was produced, it's also possible this might've been the final thing Sony saw before green-lighting the project. It may not be, but it's a reasonable assumption.

He does look a little like Bill Murray, put that with the look of the Firehouse, equipment, uniforms and Ecto-1 it's obvious they were going for something a littler closer to the film; originally.
