It tells you about the new posts since your latest login. So when you visit the site again, nothing will be new. But if someone posts a message a min. AFTER you login then it will show as new.

thats what i thought, but for some reason it isnt workin for me, when i sign out, and then sign on later, there isnt a ghost in the circle thing.

My ideal concept as far as the no ghost logo is concerned regarding new posts is like this. I think it should show where there are new posts since the LAST time you logged in. Last meaning time before this login. That way, you know where the new stuff is at. Then (if possible) once you've visited the board (regardless of reading the messages) it would go away. THEN, a different logo would show up pointing out the posts since you logged in this time. That way, you know where you can find posts since you last came to GBN, and where the new stuff is since you've signed on again. :s

I don't know if that's possible or not.

I like the idea of having more icons, but the new smilies and the traps don't look as cool as the old smiles… Ah well. I still like the Slimer icons! :d
