I'm a GB fan, posting on a GB fan forum. Is there anyone here that doesn't apply to? Or am I missing something? Like is there a GB Pope on here that I haven't seen or are you part of the GB Illuminati or something?

A bit of an odd statement given your first post in this thread.

Iain - I'm curious about something in your avatar. The sword, is it supposed to Excalibur and/or is it supposed to effective against the supernatural or is it merely cosmetic? I'm curious because I thought of giving one my characters (Kenji) a mystical sword that helped battle supernatural creatures, but then thought it might not fit well or wouldn't be something that GB fans would openly accept it.

All I was trying to do, was suggest that the statement “do you know who I am?” which, come on Bo, you KNOW was your way of saying that you're extremely important should be feared, didn't really carry much weight. Anyway, TAS I love your sketches, not so keen on the individual uniform sketch, but the facials are fantastic. Especially Venkman.

Regarding my avatar, yes the Sword is Excalibur. In one of the GBUK fics, my character is given it by King Arthur, the premise was that Arthur and his Knights were the original warriors against darkness and that Stone Henge was actually a Containment Unit of sorts created by Merlin. The legacy of defenders of the British isles has been passed down to GBUK. Vincent Belmont was in effect, our Merlin at one point. The sword is extremely light in the hands of those who wish to use it for good, and is extrmely effective against the demonic.

You stuck your nose into a situation which was ALREADY RESOLVED because you NEEDED to tell me I didn't matter. This situation had already worked itself and you just had to come in here to try and bait me into a profanity filled rant just so you could mod me and assert your authority even more. You know what you are doing and your insistence to the contrary just makes you look more like a tool.

There's a reason you're not a mod on GBHQ, and this is a prime example why. Kingpin tried this sorta thing, look how that worked out for him.

Have I in anyway asserted mod power over you? No. As far as I'm aware I'm simply having a discussion. Just because I'm a mod doesn't mean I have to walk round being all modly. Sure, I should set an example. Don't swear, don't spam etc… but I am entitled, just as other mods are to be a member of the board. Even in my first post to you here I didn't threaten mod action, I was merely voicing a personal opinion that your statement had no weight.

The situation wasn't resolved either, as the comment I responded to, was you asking if the person knew who you were. I doubt youd have asked that if it was all done…
