A different kind of Pack

I had an idea last week that hit me like a train. I'm a pretty big fan of the GB and Stargate franchises. They're both equals in my book. In the Stargate franchise, there's a source of power thats equal to the cyclotron, if not even more powerful with possibly 1 million times the life span. These power sources are called Zero Point Modules or ZPMs(Zed PMs if you're Canadian) for short. So what would a “Zero Point” Pack look like? I'll have photos up soon.

For those of you whom are unfamiliar with the series what what he is refering to here is a ZPM:



Essentially ZPM draws theoretical zero point energy from an enclosed subspace from within the module. In theory though a ZPM should never run out of energy, but for anyone who has seen the series will know…they do quite frequently

So you did. I think my eyesight it going out as I never noticed it….Damn Link colors looking almost the same as the normal text colors..

Now if you are going to do this, you need to throw some Lantean flair into the packs design…just for fun.

Oh beleive me. I'm doing just that. Its gonna be a total Ancient design. I'm designing the pack right now but I'm gonna do the wand as well once I'm done and color it as well.

For the record, if you decide to do a trap design, I envision something similiar to the ZPM with a stand that allows it stand upright and then the end splits open in 3 sections to allow the entities containment and then closes back up.

Interesting idea. Idk how i'd go about that but I was thinking something along the idea of the Extreme trap design but different. And wireless!

OH! RINGS! you could use the Ring device as a Trap….teleporting the entity directly into some sort of ECU

Lol, I just got a Mental Image of Jack O'Neill, Daniel Jackson, Teal'c and Gen. Hammond flying around New York City in a Tel'tak ringing down to use Ancient technology to bust ghosts
