The focus was, in your post, hardly found. I could say why your biased, but that would stooping to levels I don't want to go down and plus start an unneccesary flame war. What Proton was getting at was showing a man trying to do his best, knowing full well he has those who wishes he were dead, and also try to compare what went on with Green Lantern back in 1994 to the current situation on these boards. If you've read the posts in this section, which I'm sure you have, there are accusations of the boards not being as well maintained as they should be. Some were getting at a point, like Bo's I'll admit, but others just weren't based at all in true facts, just upon a hatred for Chad. I do not think, in no way shape or form, that Proton was saying how much he loved Chad or that he wants to be a moderator. He hasn't said that either in this thread, nor do I consider it “brownnosing” as you call it. Anyway, that is only my opinion, and I am stating it, just as you so humbly did.

Riiiiiiiiiiight. If you took the time to think about what I posted you would see that I was trying to provide an example of what it MIGHT be like in Chads shoes. Considering we're hearing one side of the story from Bo and Proton about 95% of the time I figured I share thoughts on an article that made me think of this situation from a Different Perspective. Hence the title. People like you don't take the time to hear both sides of the story. People like you like to make generalizations about certain people based on what others have said and not what they themselves have experienced. People like you who don't know said person personally and most likely haven't been in their shoes won't allow himself to hear the other side because they believe they know the person better than the person themselves. Well, sorry to break it ya, you don't. If you aren't aware, Chad as a hard time trying to explain things because he also trying to defend himself. I thought maybe this could be a way people could better understand The Other Side. There are things that Chad has done that I don't agree with, like for instance: In a recent thread he refused to listen to Bo and ProtonChargers suggestions to better the board because he had a personal problem with them. Like I told Zack when he did a similar thing to P.C., I believe you shouldn't not listen to a good suggestion just because you don't like the person who said it. Everyone here is a member and everyone has a say. If you want to believe that I'm a brown-noser just for reminding people that just because Chad may have done a few bad things, it doesn't make him a bad human in the big picture, then go right ahead. They way I see it, your time spent making that irrelevant post could have been better spent helping the community, and yes I wasn't expecting full appreciation for this post either.

I hate Howard Stern and everything to do with his views…I guess that's why I don't watch him or even remembered that he existed until I read this topic.

Venkman is just soliciting his opinion (albeit rudely), and has every right to have his opinions on Chad, founded or unfounded. I don't agree with him, but oh well.

I suggest that ranting, name-calling, and flaming go over to the Nightsquad board. They actually have a section of their message board dedicated to it. If you're a Vincent-hater, they even have a thread there to rant about how much of a self-righteous asshole I am. Do I care? No.

I agree this should be back on topic, however I don't believe I said anything out of line. I do have one question though, just one. Why is it when someone says something relating to Chad and the possibility that he might not be completely bad, it's considered kissing ass. But when someone posts something relating to Bo, or P.C. or their beliefs no one ever says that they might be doing the same thing? I'd like to know why there is so much double standard with that. If you want the board to be a better place you should be setting an example of how you would like it to be, not contradicting yourself and being the very person you want to get rid of.

Everyone is open to there OWN opinions. but a line is drawn at Bashing. Acts of Bashing will NOT be tolerated. That is the point at hand. and this is a very valid post with much potential. so lets just keep on topic with no Bashing (thats all thats being asked here). happy posting!
