no need to assure. from what i've been told by an acquaintance, there will be NO RGB in the comic.

I agree with you 100%.

We really got to know the guys on there. Those were their real backgrounds. And I believe someone said that Dan Aykroyd himself said that RGB was canon. Most of the people on this site were introduced to the franchise through RGB. It would be biased and ignorant to disregard RGB. And I know a majority of the fans want RGB elements brought into this revival.

Whether you like it or not, RGB always has been, still is, and always will be The Real Ghostbusters. And if the fans want them, then they'll sure as Mood Slime get them.

i'll strike that as BS until i see some cold, hard proof… ESPECIALLY since i've heard otherwise from extremely good sources. i guess you also forgot about the complete disregard for RGB in the story for GB2 and his script for GB3.

…. so it's ignorant not to include anything from the cartoon spinoff in the new GB comic? …i guess that's why 88mph is producing a licensed comic and you're not. same with ibooks, inc., lol!

No RGB in the comic? Thank the Lord! Especially when it comes to the issue of keeping Janine's movie personality the way it is.

Yeah, I hope they expand on the whole Egon and Janine relationship bit. That would be cool.

As long as they keep her movie persona like it is, I don't have problem with that either. We'll just see where it goes.

Cool it guys, everyone's entitled to their opinion and what they want in the comic. I'm not sure why some people are against RGB facts, as there was room to expand on the charater's personalities, but, some people just don't like ‘em

I wouldn’t mind seeing some RGB villans returning…but to be honest, what's the harm with using some of the facts from the show? It's just as canon as the film stuff, just in a slightly different way. After all, if it weren't for the Boogieman, then Egon never would've become a Ghostbuster, or, at least, ended up in a different line of work.

Bare in mind, I'm trying to keep this as a nice, calm convo.

Hey who needs the RGB monsters b/c u can put them in the comic trust me the creators didnt make up the boogyieman, SamHein and ect.. those creatures have been around for centuries. I can see the Gbs fighting them but not in the matter RGB did or the story lines the creators of RGB came up with
