Greetings.
I have been a memeber of this fine board for a few months now and quite frankly, I'm getting impaticent at myself. I have saved up cash for the flight suit but I can wait no longer. It is time to start.

Here is my question. Are the flightsuits themselves expandable? Like if I buy my in the next couple of months, I'm not going to grow out of it by Halloween am I? I know I wont grow a couple of feet or anything, but I'm wondering is how long you've worn your flightsuit.

Next in line, has anybody ever bought gunbelts off of that one guy (I forget his name) that sells them for $5?

As long as your flightsuit doesn't fit you like spandex when you first try it on, you should be fine. Military style flight suits have adjustable waistlines that can be adjusted to fit just about anyone. Just make sure you're happy with the length. Nothing looks worse than a GB wearing high-waters.
If you have the fundage, check out Flightsuits.com - they made the ones for the film.

Just a few tips. You don't want your suit to be form fitting. Take a look at the film again and you'll see that they're very baggy on they guys. Also, try not to buy a Nomex flight suit. You'll be spending alot of extra money for nothing (unless you plan on setting yourself on fire ). As far as the belt goes, check local gun shows. I found a gray pistol belt at one for $10.
