Do you think Oscar's father in GB2 was the “stiff” from GB1?

Think about it… Dana and the Stiff appeared to be in a relationship, and I'd say it was more than friends. See how Stiffy got all jealous and protective like a good boyfriend should when Venkman showed up. I could also see him being the type to carry the torch for Dana all through her relationship with Venkman, and then zip right in to pick up where they left off. Hmmm…

I don't think so. At the end of Ghostbusters, it's clear that Peter and Dana have a thing for each other. I think AFTER she “dumped” Peter, Dana probably met Oscar's father. It IS

Ahh, another old topic. We discussed this before many years ago…

Anyway, it all came to a conclusion when we found an interview with Dan Aykroyd who was asked just that. His intentions were that the ‘stiff’ is Oscar's father. Ultimately it was decided that nowhere in the film should that be said outright, incase for any reason down the road they didn't like that idea and decided to change it.

So yes, the stiff is Oscar's dad.
