A Robocop remake I have been hearing rumors of for years now…but I have to agree with Venkmen a Robocop remake would be a seriously bad Idea. Alternatively though I would like to see some conceptual redesigning but not a remake.

Honestly, after seeing Bay go above and beyond to get the original voice actors on board for transformers, I would be very suprised not to see Englund pop up once or twice.

Well… it was only Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime, but the point stands.

Seeing as we're a few years from even seeing anything from this new Nightmare, it's all pretty premature criticism.

Although The Freddy/Friday/Halloween franchises really should be retired, if you ask me.

I agree. Those particular franchise (Friday in my opinion more than the others) has been warped and twisted with each new entry from each persons reinvisionment that its almost impossible to gather a comprehendable plot from them anymore…well…that and franchise fatigue.

I agree. Those particular franchise (Friday in my opinion more than the others) has been warped and twisted with each new entry from each persons reinvisionment that its almost impossible to gather a comprehendable plot from them anymore…well…that and franchise fatigue.

That and the odds are so heavily stacked against the poor mortal victims that you essentially can't kill the monsters… you can't even cut off the head and hope it kills them.

…maybe if they were thrown into the Sun, but they seem utterly impossible to kill off.

i feel your pain though, the remake of The Fog was horrendous!
