Erm haven't petitions been tried before with no success?

hi its my first post here, but a petition might work if and only if enough people know about it and its a united effort. As it is now there are only 8 signatures on this petition, if it is going to do any good it needs to be seen by everyone. there are many closet fans if you will, fans who aren't die hard fans, and may not even own anything that says ghostbusters, but ghostbusters was part of their childhood, and they would eagerly go see a new addition to the franchise and would support a petition to do this. I know a number of people who i'm sure would do this but it has to be out there for them to see not just in an isolated area only a few die hard ghostheads will see. It needs to be a campaign supported by the core of the ghosthead communities.

I agree with Brad. If this thing is gonna fly, you have to do a better job of making it public. Eight signatures aren't going to do much on a petition to make Columbia Pictures do something that they've been against for so long.

And sorry ‘bout that mix-up earlier. Your wording made it sound like you blamed Akroyd as well as Columbia. But I see now that you didn’t mean that at all.

I couldn´t see that petition page of yours….but if I can help in any way to let Aykroid know we are with him, COUNT ME IN.

Alright, I signed the petition. You must check it out, I think my comment is rather interesting and would definitly persuade Sony to make a GB3!

allright, finally i got inside that page, I already signed….GB FOREVER!

I tried to spread the word in my little own way, i imed it to all my friends who are signed on, i posted it on two forums my friends frequent, i posted it at the rpf, swforums.net, asap ghostbusters, and asap Ground Zero(with poll). Maybe this will help maybe it won't. I suggest to all of you if you feel the same about a Ghostbusters 3 to also try and spread the word.
