megax11;137809The problem isn't with Bill, it is the fact that, none of the actors had any sort of visual refference of the game, all they had were their scrpts, and their imaginations. Plus! I think that if they would have been able to do the VOs together, it would have sounded a lot different. (*peter)
Is it me, or anytime I see that video of the demo, does it sound like Bill was bored? I know he's usually hectic to reprise previous roles, if I assume correct.
I kind of hope I could get a response from someone who has worked on the game.
Does he get into the role pretty well in this game, or was this early work and some dialouge was re-recorded?

I didn't work on the game but I can tell you that the demo I played at NYCC had a couple of pieces of dialogue from Murray and they sounded great. To be honest I don't see anything wrong with any of his dialogue, the demo bit he may have sounded kind of “bored” on purpose because he was teaching the rook something he'd done so many times. I also spoke to one of the Atari reps at the convention and he said that Murray was very charismatic in his performance. Also Glenn Gamble, another person who worked on the game, said that Murray delivers his lines perfectly.

This makes me wonder though, what do you guys think of the other voice overs of say Dan Aykroyd or Harold Ramis or Ernie Hudson? Everyone is so concerned about Bill's character that they are neglecting everyone else. Funny though, this is exactly what Bill didn't want.
