Considering how much hype and time that has been put into the game…not to mention how close it is to release…only Blizzard Entertainment would can something that close to release..

Seeing how close the game is to completion, that they have a demo scheduled, and the amazing amount of money they were throwing around at Comic Con in Ghostbusters stuff and just promoting the game. I really doubt they cancelled it, seeing how much money they would lose.

Not having a release date really could mean anything, with all the amount of games coming out in the October/November Time Frame, Activision could be trying to position the game for a week in which it would get maximum exposure.

Actually the Gamestop computers say the game is Street Dated for Oct. 21st.

We all know Gamestop decides their street date info for online ordering by rolling 20 sided di by some overpowered undead warlock.

I am on a roll with the Blizzard references tonight…bazing!

I don't buy this for one second. Its just speculation because there isn't an announced date yet, other than it being this fall. It's coming guys, seriously… with all the good GB stuff forthcoming and the resurgence of this franchise on the brink, no way do they cancel this. Not a chance.

Worry not, ghostheads. I'm sure another publisher will snap the game up. The question is, how many hoops will they have to jump through and is a delay inevidable? Let's hope not.

In any event, I'm sure there are a team of crack lawyers (or a team of lawyers on crack) attempting to work things out as we speak.
