I am working on a new advertising program for Ghostbusters sites on the Ghostbusters Prop Archive. I am working on a system that allows you to put a 728 x 90 pixel sized banner ad on GBProps for a very low cost! I don't know if anyone is going to be interested.. but it will be very affordable, and an extremely good program to be into.

The costs are as follows (subject to change):

1% of Ads = $1.00 / Month
10% of Ads = $10.00 / Month
25% of Ads = $25.00 / Month

(You could also do any other percentage! Like 2%, 4%, 9%.. etc. The cost just equals the percentage a month.)

The amount of views GBProps gets, as you can probably imagine, is up in the millions every year. You could probably guess that this would be very worth while! It breaks down to this:

1% of Ads = 1500 Views a Month
5% of Ads = 7500 Views a Month
10% of Ads = 15000 Views a Month
25% of Ads = 37500 Views a Month

Well it has been 1 month now, and I feel the program is running very sucessfully. It is great for those GB sites out there to get exposure!! I only have 1 paying GB site using the program.. but its stats were very good for last month:

19,683 Views
307 Clicks
1.5% CTR
$.03 Per Click

Just that for $10, for 10% of the views! It for sure boosted up traffic on the site..

If anyone wants to join the program for May 2nd - June 2nd, or whenever.. please let me know. It can be as cheap as $1 (plus PayPal fees, please!).. but is most effective for like $5, $10, or more!

It works really well.. when GBProps returns next month, the features related to Advertising will be increased. It has been a good sucess for the 3 sites I have signed up for it.

It will really be a big help to me.. because my server costs rose signifigantly due to the increased traffic and everything.

Now is the perfect time to begin advertising.. the sites currently doing it have seen a good number of clicks with the new site back up.

Now is an even better time to start doing it!

Today so far.. we've had somewhere in the neighborhood of 23000 page views. So the ad running for just $10/month has gotten 2335 views.. and a load of visits. Not bad if you want to bring up some exposure for your site for some small amount!
