With all of the actors getting up there, I'm wondering if they'll be able to get around with those proton packs. Or would advances in technology allow them to produce compact versions suitable for seniors? The motor alone to spin up the proton packs would be fairly heavy.

Anyway, getting pretty excited with news of this new movie.

let's hope it happens this time.

Well considering they don't actually have a motor to “spin up the proton packs” its not something they really need to worry about. They'll make a comment about how heavy they are, as they have in the past, and that will probably be it.

Maybe we'll see a new pack, but I doubt it.

I kind of like the idea of Venkman getting his “grunt” rookie to run around with the pack as he himself uses the wand! (*_*)

I figure, they're going to have to set the script a few years into the future (maybe more than a few), so the script will also have to keep up with changes in technology. Maybe some of the computer stuff on the packs can be cut down a bit…or maybe Bill can carry the Kylie Gun.(*peter)

There will be changes, that is for sure. Sony will be like “Modernize or no go”. So what about a Cell phone lazer?

I don´t care about if the packs are heavy or not, they have complained before about it… and I know the actors will start to make some fitness work to be on good shape for the movie (Ernie don´t need it as Harold and Dan does)… what bugs me is tha fact that the proton packs may have changes, you know, new technology = small packs
