Are you for real? Stop copying the same Info as I post down. Men and Women need jobs they need to make money for a living. Please stop posting the same words as I wrote. Are you stupid or what? Stop acting dumb on this board Thanks!

While we all appreciate your enthusiasm for Ghostbusters III, your tone is really harsh and disrespectful. We are here to share information and support each other. You have been warned in the past and you've left me no choice but to ban you for a month.

There is no place in this community for such disrespect. That said, I hope you return with a more calm / respectful tone.

We really don't, Chad. I'm saying this as a Moderator and as a member of the community.
However I'm glad he's going to be gone for longer this time… and that if he returns after a month and is still causing trouble, then by elimination he'll probably be receiving a permanent ban.

Slimer, if you could avoid referencing BJs in future, that'd be great.

Although I think it is of course necessary to introduce some new characters for Ghostbusters III I don't think introducing any new Ghostbusters will add anything special or anything original to the movie. I think that Ghostbusters III should be about the four original Ghostbusters in some kind of situation which they have never been in before and it should follow the characters through it including lots of laughs and scares along the way.

Perhaps the government has introduced a new regulation and the Ghostbusters have been forced to accompany a group of trading standards officers who will suporvise and judge them. I think alot of conflict and alot of comedy could come from that.

i just wanted to know what he'd say if i said somethin really ridiculous and insulting. and it worked, it was a one time deal.

that being said, i usually keep my language and innuendo at a very low rate around here

I think a new legion of GBs would work and could show alot of Comedy, such as having the OGBs trying to keep a proffessional and ‘aint afraid of no ghost’ persona infront of the new GBs would be pretty funny to watch. or the new GBs having the same arragant persona, but the OGBs end up taking the given situation at ease, there would be lots and lots of comedic chemestry if its written right.

new characters are always welcome to expand the universe, but the only question is, would i like the cast choices?

I don't think that a new team is necessary and it's not an idea which strikes me as very interesting. I mean it's just far too unoriginal and far too predictable. Ghostbusters hire a new team, Ghostbusters train new team, some strange paranormal occurance happens and the new team manage to help save the day.

I want something truly original. something unpredictable. A new slant. Something that really grabs my imagination and curiosity. Something that I've never seen before and didn't expect to see. I want the old team back and I want an original idea. Some kind of problem which the Ghostbusters have never had to deal with before whether legal, social or supernatural. Something which tests their relationships with one another and other characters. I want to be surprised.

Something legal? So you're not for seeing a new Ghostbusters team, that doesn't interest you? But the big threat of the movie being something legal would intrigue you? Sounds odd to me.

A new team may not be original, but it may be necessary at this point. And with the generic statement you made about “Ghostbusters hire a new team, Ghostbusters train new team, some strange paranormal occurance happens and the new team manage to help save the day.”… that's the same thing as “Ghostbusters are still in business, some strange paranormal occurance happens and they manage to save the day.” That's what Ghostbusters is man. Just because new guys would be involved in the process doesn't make it unoriginal and make the story uninteresting.

Exactly! So what would be the purpose in introducing a new team? What would it add to the movie?

I want an original story. I want something different. No, the introduction of a new team does not interest me and it will just mean less screen time for Murray, Aykroyd, Ramis and Hudson and those are the guys I want to see even if they are in their late 50s/early 60s. Those are the characters which we fell in love with. There is also a danger in having too many characters in a movie. It can weaken the story and become disjointed. It can do more harm than good.

And yes some new event or problem whether a legal one such as for instance the Ghostbusters having to abide by new regulations and service standards, a social one such as people who may not want ghosts of loved ones caught or a completely new kind of supernatural danger such as a lunatic with the knowledge of black magic. These are just examples but the original characters having to deal with such issues/problems would interest me more than a new team joining the company.
