Akroyd's GB III script (wishful thinking)

It seems amazing that next to NOTHING has ever been released/leaked about this script—the plot, characters, etc…there have been several leaks on other scripts for other prospective franchise sequels like Superman, why nothing from GB3? I guess I'm just wishing out loud for something, anything, about this project to come to light.

I think if GB3 won't be made, the script should be released and sold at bookstores, I know I'd buy it.

Why would they release a book of a script of a movie that hasn't even come close to being released?

Also, script details haven't been leaked because GB3 has never been close enough to being made for that to happen. If it was in the serious pre-production or early production stages, then maybe details would be “leaked.”

They'd release a book because it wouldn't be a book about a movie. It would be a book whose story was originally gonna be a movie.

there was a brief script leak a while back on one of the fan pages. it said was the opening scene a buissness man walks through new york gets on the fairy then the normal scene quickly changes into a hellish scenne of the fairy in malting lava and demons and picht forks then the scene goes normal then the them songs starts to play

I seem to remember a quote from Ramis from a few years back discussing the whole “hell and earth” deal in relation to the movie, would've been a cool concept to see *sigh*

You know, I think if they want make the movie, they should release a book on GB III that Dan wrote, then there could be a GB VI, it would satisfy us, and it wouldn't cost a lot. Also, if it sold, well, SONY might think about making it into a movie.

Aykroyd is probably holding out on releasing information because he still thinks he can get GB3 made.

I don't care if it's a book or it's a movie, but as long as It's Ghostbusters, I'm happy!!
