2,500 years ago, in a LOTR-esque setting, Middle Earth is in the middle of a war between the Bobbits and the Elves. Lord Kashmir is a Bobbit who has the last remaining Ring that controls the fate of Middle Earth. During the war, Kashmir officially announces that until the Ring has been disposed of, the ghosts of the Bobbits and Elves will return from the dead to wreak havoc on the land that Middle Earth is on at the time. Cut to present-day NY, New Years Eve 2002. It is the 2,500th anniversary of the end of the Bobbit/Elf war. The Ring was recently uncovered by archeologists and brings back the demons and ghosts of the past. This time, if the Ring is not disposed of, it will be the end of the world as we know it. Now who ya gonna call? (You just knew I was gonna say it, weren't you? ). So now, it is up to the GBs to save the world again.

All the villans who were defeated in movies set in New York (King Kong, “The Bug” from Men In Black, Godzilla - not the japanese version obviously, The Green Goblin, all the baddies from the Superman movies and many more that I can't think of right now) return as ghosts and start doing scary stuff. They start kidnapping Spiderman, Superman, the Men In Black and all the other heroes near the beginning of the movies as each hero comes to face their old enemy. Soon all the heroes in New York are gone - all except four old, fat, balding, grey has-beens, who must save the world one last time.

I want to ask u a queation, cause I'm confused! In your GB3 script in fanfic, y did the GBs not have the packs?

To answer your question, the reason the GBs didn't have their packs is because some nutty guy stole them. That nutty guy became one of the new GBs. Then I figured after reading so many bad reviews, that it could have been an EGB episode. Then some wannabes with vacuum cleaners instead of packs saved the world and left the GBs in the dust, until they decided to fight back.

I am the guy who came up with revenge of the Terror Dogs. It features Zuul and Vince getting chucked out of hell for failing to do anything in the battle with gozer. So they go after Dana Loius and the ghostbusters for revenge. Oh yeah they have an army of rejected ghosts with them.

Azrael (the Angel of Death) has been hatching a plan for centuries in order to transport himself to the Mortal world. In order to do this, he has been using the Bermuda Triangle to transfer protoplasm (ie humans) into his dimension, with the theory that when the protoplasm in his ectoplasmic universe matches exactly with the ectoplasm in our protoplasmic universe, the two sources of energy will try to return to their own universes, taking everything nearby with it.

In order to get the correct amount of ectoplasm into the correct place, he had to wait for somebody to come up with the idea of catching ghosts (guess who )
He then dupes Gozer and Vigo into releasing sufficient ghosts into the world to be trapped by the Ghostbusters, causing the rift to open and suck the firehouse through.

The original GBs are sucked through with it, leaving perhaps one behind with some equipment. After that, it is a race against time to recruit enough GBs, build enough equipment and rescue the originals in time to beat Azrael.

Will Smith would not be a good Ghostbuster, in EVERYTHING he is the same character, in MIB he is the same as he is in Fresh Prince, and the same goes for his other films!

He would be a VERY wooden GB!

The GHOSTBUSTERS 3 script I wrote a while ago starts off with Winston having a wonderful life. He's the CEO of a toy company that's gotten rich off FRIGHT FEATURES action figures. It quickly becomes apparent that this is not reality, and that he is dreaming, and is, in fact, still a Ghostbuster. Yeah, they're still around. After what seems like a routine ghostbusting outing, Egon discovers that there is an inordinate amount of PKE energy in small areas. That much energy requires, Egon states, a huge “conductor”. We're left with the hint that there's something big on the horizon once again.

The Ghostbusters consist of Egon, Ray, Winston, and Louis. Peter has moved on to host WORLD OF THE PSYCHIC again.

Somewhere in new York, a hole in reality opens up, and the movie versions of the People Busters emerge. The People Busters set off to…well, bust people. One of their first stops is Peter Venkman's show. Peter ends up “trapped”, and the People Busters head off into New York.

With an increase in supernatural energies, the GHostbusters realize they can't handle all of the paranormal activity, and decide to hire. They put out ads on TV, go through a screening process, teach some new recruits the ropes, and select new Ghostbusters at the end of a training period.

The People Busters come after the Ghostbusters, who evade them. Egon realizes that there is some connection between the real world and the spirit realm. Realizing that something has to be done, the Ghostbusters and the new Ghostbusters set out to find and close any doorways to the spirit realm. They find a place where PKE energy levels are MASSIVE, and encounter the People Busters. There's an old-fashioned, wild west standoff, and the Ghostbusters trick the People Busters into lowering their weapons, then blast them. The People Busters go into the traps. And then all hell breaks loose. The streets shake, the skies darken, we've seen it before. And Peter Venkman rises from a fissure in the street. Egon takes a PKE reading and determines that it's not Peter, but rather a MASTER GHOST of some kind. The Master Ghost attacks them, and the Ghostbusters use their particle throwers. As the trap opens, and the streams are shut off, the Master Ghost escapes. Until another stream pulls him back down, into the waiting trap. Louis has saved the day. Finding the gateway to the spirit world where the People Busters originally came from, the Ghostbusters use the positive energy from their traps and throwers to collapse it. The danger is over, but a lot of spirits have escaped the spirit realm, and the Ghostbusters realize that they have their work cut out for him. With renewed vigor, they resolve to catch all the ghosts that escaped. Even Peter joins back up. The script ends with a montage of old and new Ghostbusters catching various ghosts, including the librarian ghost from GHOSTBUSTERS. If you didn't see a mention of Dana Barrett, Janine, Lenny, Walter Peck and Slimer, it's because I only wrote 37 pages of script, the best bits and pieces. I never finished it. I did want to include those characters, though.

WINSTON
Our quarter profits are looking real good. Especially the Fright Features line. Now-

A BOY in the first row raises his hand. He seems out of place in this business meeting. He smiles.

BOY
My dad says you're full of crap.

Winston smiles, hiding his annoyance. He looks down at the floor, then turns to the door.

WINSTON
Ray…hose him!

RAY STANTZ steps through the door, wearing a tan GHOSTBUSTERS jumpsuit. A SLIME BLOWER is strapped onto his back. Ray smiles.

He turns the slime blower on, and pink strands of slime shoot from it, hitting the boy and covering him with goo. The boy screams and slumps in his seat. Winston smiles. The image shimmers, and fades.

FADE TO:

INT. FIREHOUSE-BUNK AREA

Winston is laying in bed in a darkened room, a smile on his face. It has all been a dream. Ray Stantz lays in a bed a few feet away. Another two beds lay beside them.

Suddenly an alarm bell sounds.

Winston's eyes snap open. He sits up, and looks groggily around at his surroundings.

WINSTON
(Realizing he's still a Ghostbuster)
No. No…aww, no!

Egon looks around, holding up the PKE meter.

EGON
There's definitely something here…

He steps further into the tent, looking down at the ground, taking more readings.

EGON
Something big.

Ray looks up, and his jaw drops open.

RAY
Egon…

Winston and Louis look up, see what Ray is looking at, and they freeze.

RAY
Egon…

Egon is taking readings from the sawdust.

EGON
Something very big…

He follows the readings upward, and looks up. His eyes widen slowly.

A grotesque GHOST ELEPHANT stands there. It trumpets.

Egon staggers backward. The Ghostbusters switch on their particle throwers as they back away.

WINSTON
Wow.

Ray looks at the elephant. He shrugs.

RAY
This is new.

(Louis teaching his class of recruits)

LOUIS
So there I was…Between the restaurant and the dog. But I wasn't gonna go without a fight! So I grabbed a chair!

(Louis driving recruits around town)

LOUIS
So anyway…she's standing there, half naked…

*********************

RAY
Peter!

Peter smiles. Then his eyes flash. Egon grabs Ray.

Egon is holding up the PKE meter. The needles are vertical.

EGON
It's not Peter. It's some kind of…master ghost.

Peter smiles…

PETER
Hello, Ray…

Ray scowls and looks at Louis and Winston, who have raised their particle throwers.

RAY
Wait…

Peter starts to walk closer.

PETER
I'm ok…see? It's me!

Ray lowers his thrower at Peter.

RAY
Don't come any closer…

Louis steps beside him.

LOUIS
Don't shoot!

Peter turns. He smiles at Louis.

PETER
It's good to see you, Louis.

A look of shock comes over Louis.

LOUIS
Blast him!
