Alternate Universes

Perhaps its to early to think about this, but I thought I'd just put the idea out there. How about once a year, 88mph does an alternative universe GB issue, for example:

1) The Ghostbusters are a huge multinational corporation and our boys are just lowly paranormal janitors, cogs in the machine if you will.(like the original script but without space and time travel)

2) The Ghostbusters on Steroids: All of the guys look like case-study Winston. Egon would say, “Print is dead 'cause I killed it.”

3) How the world would be if the guys had never met each other.

Whaddya Think?

hmm…The first idea sounds interesting, but only as a special issue though.(not constant/recurring)

I feel compelled to point out that if the guys had never met each other, Gozer would have destroyed the world.

Other then that, it would be interesting.

Heh…I'm sure it's WAAAAAAAAY too early to be asking for stuff like this, but I would love to see the Ghostbusters cross over with characters from a couple other companies.

Specifically, I would KILL to see Ghostbusters/Hellboy! But only if they can come up with a good story.

Two more ideas

1) An alternate universe where the Ghostbusters are women instead of men, with their first names correctly altered.

2) An issue kind of like the RGB episode with Peoplebusters.

Just trying to image Janine Melnitz as a man…

How about this for an alternate universe for them to play with? One where the Ghostbusters wear different colored outfits, Ray's fat, and Egon has weird blond hair?

Funny thing, that…have you seen the cover to Armada #14? Check it out here.

And so that I can stay on topic…it would be interesting to see them cross over into some DC territory and maybe try and bust Boston Brand (Deadman) or even Hal Jordan (The Spectre…yes, the Spectre, get over it)
