Do you think that the movie could be released in 2016 like when the chick said on the Venkmans show in GB2, the guy was right, why cant she.

A movie, let alone getting out by 2016 is unlikely because:

1) Sony was, at one point, unwilling to finance the venture.

2) Dan Aykroyd, for intents and purposes has sworn off any more interest in the venture, but I bet it still burns in the back of his mind.

3) Bill Murray has been said to have refused discussing appearing in another sequel, and he has controlling rights in Ghostbusters, there can't be a new movie without his say so.

Well….what she was talking about the end of the world. She said “….February 14, 2016”, and of course Venkman says, "Valentines Day….bummer!! It would be kinda interesting, but I don't think GB3 is never going to happen (but I wish it would) as long as Bill is going to be a stubborn jackass!!

Why did the thought of Assassinating Murry just pop into my mind…

the whole story of the guys gettin sucked into hell…well it seems weird on many levels such as..if it was the plot line for GB3, how would dana be involved or would dana be involved…and louis how would u evolve him back into it?

I wanna see a GB3 more then anyone else believe me, I'm not knocking it. But what I'm tryin to say if they are able to do a new batman and a dukes of hazard movie and last I heard there was rumour for a G.I. Joe movie?!?!?…anyways instead of investing in these why not try a GB3…have the guys in it, but do not and I mean DO NOT do a take on EGB…that'd be like having ‘Walter Peck play as Eduardo’…a major fu%* up if u ask me. Besides those characters can't, won't and weren't taken serious. But for the big named actors, u can't fill a movie with Kutcher, Will Smith, and Depp…they're all older then each other…they've all gotta be closer in ages DUH!!!!!

Maybe we could see a more challenging pairing like ‘Cillian Murphy, Jake Gyllenhaal, as Peter maybe David Arquette or Johnny Knoxville…I’m not being “Oh he's the HOLLYWOOD thing”…its more a class of now actors as rising stars/maybe not the whole Dewey Arquette thing then…but 4real on the real…GB3 if u ever come to us..u gotta utilize what GB stood for…4 young men who were comics and one who was nuts and one the brain and the other two play off each others mental capabilities. and u know u gotta have SLIMER..who knows how fat he'd be by now tho :O

if your gonna discuss actors again I want to just throw in my 2 cents on Kevin James again, it would please me so much to see him as a Ghostbuster rather than some of the other ‘HOT’ actors out there
