Another suggestion...

Hey chad, why don't you delete some of the accounts that have been here for a while. I doubt that all these users still even bother to login at all. Delete the accounts that haven't been logged in on for about 9 months.

Good Idea, there's someone who has an almost identical name to me but they've never posted anything!

I think he does do that.

how often does he do it (delete accounts), because there are some people who are notorious for giving bad ratings, and then they don't use their account anymore, which makes me wonder if its only people making a new account to piss other people off, or maybe it's the government trying to screw chad over…hmm…we will never know?

I have a script that runs each night that deletes users that haven't confirmed their user registration by clicking the link in the email that gets sent to them. Those people never show up as a user on the site though anyway. Everyone who has signed up have

1) a unique email address
2) logged in at least once
3) have activated their accounts through email confirmation

I will not delete user accounts because they give bad ratings. I'm currently working on an admin tool for the mods so they can handle those circumstances. Like I said before, the mods will have authority over much more than just the boards. However, they can't change the rating, they can only change any foul language that is in the rating text.

this isn't just ratings. check this some of these people. in their entire time, they probably have logged in once, and have done nothing after that. If you don't delete their accounts (due to inactivity) it doesn't really bother me, it was just a suggestion. Question, who and what are the MODS?
