Any word?

Anyone hear anything new about GB3 besides the fact that it might be CGI? It has been some time since I last heard anything. All I know is that it might be cgi and that sony sold it's right back to universal studios to make the Ghostbusters video game for all consoles.

I spoke with ernie hudson a couple weeks ago on a convention. He told me that he would doing voicework with Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis somewhere in januari for the game. He knew all the rumours about the CGI movie but nothing has greenlighted yet. he said that annything is possible but there will nothing happen until the studios wil greenlight the project.

It's pretty likely that GB3 will never surface as a movie, it's been in development Hell since the 1990s and whilst Dan always seems enthusiastic with the more time going by it's less likely a third film will ever be done.

That is the first of many fan films, I am downloading the full DIVX version. It is great from what I have seen.

considering the fact that there has been no news of the game of late im going to say late 2008 early 2009, more llikely 2009 cuz zootfly has antoher game that they are finishing up.

ZootFly doesn't really come into it any more since they were priced out of the bidding for the game, they're not going to be doing the Ghostbusters game.

I'd hope for ‘09, solely because it’ll be the 20th anniversary for GBII, and the 25th for the original film.

About three months ago.

Matthew emailed ZootFly CEO Bostjan Troha after we hadn't heard anything in a while, Matthew got the following back in reply:

Hi Matthew,

A Ghostbusters game is indeed in development, but by another developer, and the publisher is Vivendi. Unfortunately we weren't able to get the license as there were much more powerful players on the field.
