yea. i dont hold much stock in the amazon date of june 30th. I think there on drugs if they launch it then! Summer is the WORSE time to launch ANY video game, esp a movie based game.

Im hoping early next year, jan-march, maby april. I just dont see them holding off to june. Im sure the game is almost complete by now! I mean, its oct 3th, if they still held there developmental schedual, the game should have gone gold by now and went to the printers, meaning it would be done with final bug checking

But i doubt its gone to the printers, but im sure at terminal studios, if you wanted to play the entire game, start to finish, you most likely could by now, with very few bugs or glitches!

Who knows, June 30th, you could add 10 more levels into the game, but id doubt they do that, cause they have to pay the boys more money for aditional voice recording, script new things, etc.

Maby they could add new animations, or more multiplayer modes, but even that, wouldent take another 8 months to do!

Hell, once the final build of the game is complete, from my understanding is, it dont take long at all for them to make new stuff for the game. look at all the expansions and downloadable levels for alot of video games, there out sometimes within weeks of the launch date.

Promo stuff, i hardly doubt they would have to change much, if anything other then swich the names of the publisher! That would take, 2 weeks, tops! Now booking avertising time, etc…buying time slots to promo the game might not happen till the first of the new year, but i highly doubt 8 months worth of time

Ive said this before and ill say it again, they will never cancel this game! Way to much money, star power, etc is involved in this to simply ditch it!

Like i was saying, they BETTER if they have a half of decent buisness sense and timing, have somthing offical stated by halloween! If they fail to do that, then, i have no clue whats going on in there minds

The summer release date makes plenty of sense in that its the 25th anniversary. With the apparent planned marketing for many things Ghostbusters to be coming out throughout the year, Ghostbusters will be in the public eye plenty.

And I have to point out, when did “thirth” become a date? LOL, sorry man, but since you did it twice, it was too funny to not point out that you weren't saying the “3rd”.

Man, does anyone here not actually play video games? Highly anticipated games are almost always delayed.

None of this is going to happen, the game was damn well near completed when Craptivision decided to drop it, so I doubt that Terminal Reality will add anything new. No, Sony's just pulling a Sony and wanting more money, so instead of finding a new publisher right away, they stall until June.

Wanting more money? How? Do you mean that they've now upped the price on the license for the game? Or do you mean that they think it will sell better in June with the 25th anniversary?

What are you trying to say? Cuz it doesn't make much sense, it just sounds like fanboy whining.

If you're saying that they're upping the price on the license, I don't know where you're pulling that idea out of. And if you think that they're holding off on it until June because they think it will sell better, why complain? If it sells better in June, than they'll be more likely to make more games, which bodes well for us.

I remember that something official near the start of the delay said they would be using at least some of the time to work on the game.

Don't even get started again, this is just Sony thinking that if they hold the game until June for the anniversary, that they'll sell more copies. Nowhere did I say they increase the price of the game or anything.

Hence me asking what you were talking about.

And again, if the game sells more copies because they hold off until June, that bodes well for us, and gives us more chance at more new Ghostbusters stuff. Given the two options would you rather:

1) Get it now, and have it not sell as well as Sony wants it to, so they don't make more.

2) Get it in June, it sells as well as Sony wants, and they make more games.

correct me if im wrong, but i dont even recall a first party source even stating its delayed. Yes, we're missing a publisher, but is it infact offically delayed? I guess in a few weeks we'll know for sure when my copy dont arive at gamestop.

Did you miss the official Press Release from Activison?

You should have known this whole time.. the game is not coming out on October 21st.
