As for the agreement, that wouldn't be to surprising, but remember, this is Sony we're talking about, the company that didn't release RGB to DVD for ages, so them being to tightlipped wouldn't be to surprising without an agreement.

For me, it already went past a release date. I got told the 7th, so that's one, the 21st will be the next, and if October does go by without any info, well, that'd suck hard, well, suck more given whats already happened.

There are plenty of good upcoming games to hold your attention until the Ghostbusters game comes out like Spider-man Web of Shadows, Guitar Hero World Tour, Quantum of Solace, and Call of Duty World at War.

I called a nearby comic area, and they don't have GB: The Other Side on their list. That kinda worries me a tad, but maybe comics don't get into systems the way video games and movies do.

You can't even try to tell me that the bolded part doesn't sound like you're saying you're worried the thing isn't coming out, since you related it not being in the system to movies and video games (wide release things that are typically in systems further ahead).

You complain about them not releasing a new release date, then you bitch the fact that its passed one of several release dates that were available at a time, none of which were ever completely confirmed (though the 21st was the generally accepted one, as that is what GameStop said).

As for you not looking for an excuse to complain, you've made it clear from your statements that you are. You want them to come out and say something, but you're not happy with “The game isn't canceled, we're looking for a publisher.” which was said months ago. Every time you post, you're either complaining about the fact that the game isn't out, or that we don't have a date, or that Sony isn't saying anything, but then you complain about what Sony has said and that it was too vague. THERE IS NOTHING TO TELL! What don't you understand about this?

I think I, along with the other fans would like some recent news on the game's status, not news that was 3 months ago.

Again, and please try to understand that I want news as well… but what are they supposed to say if there's nothing new to report?

If Sony comes out and says “The game is still coming. We're working on a publisher.” (assuming they haven't signed a non-disclosure agreement, which is quite possible in negotiations)… assuming they come out and say that, then a lot of people are just going to complain that they should be using that time to get the deal done and that they shouldn't be trying to pass that off as an update, and that we deserve a real update.

If there's nothing for them to say, there's nothing for them to say.

I guarantee they're not keeping it under wraps if there is a new publisher for no reason.

People would be furious if they came out with some information, only to have it backfire and fall through and have to find another new publisher or another new release date.
