I don't think anyone ever thought it did have the greenlight… the script hasn't even been finished and its been widely publicized that nothing has been signed.

A script being commissioned and the movie being given the greenlight are two ENTIRELY different things.

A few sites make it sound like it's a done deal including the way Aykroyd keeps talking about it. The fact that protoncharging posted it as a topic shows that people must have thought it is going to happen for sure.

I haven't seen anything posted anywhere suggesting or outright saying the movie has a greenlight.

Everything has said that a script has been commissioned and that the actors have agreed to reprise their roles if the script is good. No where has anything said its greenlit. That's just people running rampant with rumors and taking it to something that its not yet.

That's what I'm trying to say. A lot of sites I go on are claiming that rumors are fact. I hate that.

I see. The way you worded the question in the thread title made it sound like you thought that the movie had been greenlit and that this information was a bad sign.
