If anybody has those little plastic ghosts that came in cans of “ecto plazm”…I've been hunting for them for years!
For something so common back in the day, almost nobody held onto them. I've only found four! (A red skull, a pair of yellow eyeballs, a purple walrus with a big tongue, and a gaping purple mouth with stubby feet)
Always interested in the larger, transparent mini-ghosts too. I have some duplicates if anybody else wants them (several “howler” ghosts that originally came with Ecto-1, a couple “wrappers” and “gruesome twosomes”)
Anyone remember the ecto-plazm mini-ghosts?

Yeah, I just bought more of the yellow eyeball-ghost from an ebay seller, but that's the first time I've seen them for sale all alone. They're usually in with a much bigger lot, if at all.

Haha, I have 3 of them!
One is the blue stubby one with gaping mouth open you mentioned, another is an orange nose type ghost, and another is a little ghost with big hands that “hooks” onto things (like edges).
They adorn my computer area.
Don't think I could part with them, sorry!

It was so cool that for being basically the cheapest possible toys, they still all had “play features” pertaining to slime. You could squeeze it through them, use them to scoop it, etc.
The weirdest was that rubber one with the cone-shaped body.

It's funny that you brought this up, as I just completed my set of Ecto Ghosts using eBay. I had to buy several lots of figures just to get one ghost, one even came from France! I was lucky enough to buy some individually, though.

Here's a scan I made from the catalogs and card backs illustraing the various Ecto Ghosts. The ones circled are the ones I needed when I started trying to complete the set back in February. The uncircled ones are those I've had since I was a kid.

I forgot all about the one in the top left (with the straight tail) and the soft rubber ghost with one eye and a wide open mouth.
The one on top of the yellow can is the one that confused me as a child. I couldn't tell its top from its bottom…I think the point is meant to be the bottom and its just a top-like ghost with a wide open mouth.

I have a few of the orange owl looking guys, but for some reason he's not shown in the above pic? It is #8 in the picture below. I will sell or trade for any of the other ectoplasm ghosts so drop me an email if interested.
