Both the doll and the cartoon? The doll back in 1986 was the first animated talking teddy bear that was sold in stores for sixty something and was a best seller, i had one for christmas when i was 5 in 1986 and it was one of my favorites. I also religiously watched the awesome cartoon back in 1987 at age 6 as it is one of my favorite cartoons of all time, it was made from DIC who made Real Ghostbusters, Sonic The hedgehog, Inspector Gadget, The Littles, Heathcliff and more.

I even had a crush on Grubby's sexy butterfly girlfriend Karen, she was a sizzler and they have some episodes on Youtube including the live-action pilot movie that aired in 1986 on ABC which has amazing puppetry and that kind of thing that blows CGI out of the water.

I remember him. Hell. I had one of those creepy things when I was a kid.

I know Doc Fritz remembers him as well…….

I had one and absolutely LOVED it. Him and Grubby. I was addicted to those guys.

I must've watched that pilot movie a couple dozen times… I still get nostalgic for it every once in a while too… I can only imagine how much grander my obsession would've been if that would've led to a live action series.

And I completely agree about the puppetry, that stuff is fantastic.

Yup I had Teddy and Grubby. I always hated that they were so heavy and completely unsoft.

My grandparents had an episode on VHS for us. I just remember that they were flying in a hot air ballon, were being shot at with wooden sticks, and had to patch the holes with a sticky tar like substance.

Admittedly, I also remember The Littles.

My younger brothers had one, so yeah.

In full disclosure, the avatar came from Mr. No-Ghost. I don't know if he made it himself or he found it somewhere, but I thought it was so funny I've been using it for the last year or so.

Well, I figured you remember him, if for no other reason, than your avatar whether you made it or not.
