I want to learn this program called Game Maker. I have Game Maker 7 but never fully got it down. I really want to make a action style fighting game sort of like playing a full level but fighting off bad guys at the same time. Can someone who knows how to use this sort of let me check out an old game of theres so I can look at the variables of it to sort of compare with my stuff and maybe that will help me to gain a better understanding? I downloaded the program last night. It tells you how to make a game in the help section. Try that if you havn't already, it gives you a feel of how it works. I'm working on a primitive Battlestar Galactica (old school) side scrolling game. You control the viper and shoot down cylon raiders, not great but it's a first try learning experience type thing.
