This is really pretty typical, I hate to say it. A couple years back, when Lucasarts was promoting Republic Commando they brought in some people from the 501st to hang out around their booth and wander the convention to get people to go see the video. The year Twilight Princess was first playable Nintendo had those Link/Zelda cosplayers hand out around the Nintendo booth, I know they got swag, but they didn't get paid at all.

Point is, you should probably be happy that Atari was even considering paying you. I know it's expensive, and I agree, there's no way I could have come up with $3000 in a week, but then again, if you'd been in talks with them for awhile, you could have been saving some money. Don't let this sour you on cons and stuff though, chalk it up to experience.

Wait a minute… GBSUFF11, were you representing Atari at NYCC? If so, I think I may have met you guys, I was the one who was also in costume on Friday, and went with you to the firehouse… if not, guess it was someone else.

The way I look at this is like this………….

Atari probably knew you and your friends dress up like that for fun, they thought it'd be cool if since you do it for fun, you might as well do it at the biggest Game Con. Thats just awesome in its own right, you would have probably gotten your pictures in a few mags, on a few websites and on top of that bragging rights. Probably got a few free things, hell they probably would have hooked up a copy of the game……early.

You're mad that they wouldn't pay your way there which would be understandable, but then again they could have gotten someone in LA that does the same exact stuff and not complain about it.

So now you're trying to leak stuff which is pretty chicken shit cause you're ruining it for everyone.

no you dont know the whole story, and i even still dont know the whole story, but i am pissed because they made us go thru hell. None of us has 3 Grand to just pay out of pocket just like that and to get refund 30 days later. They brought this up at the last min and after all video game shit we made you expect to at least get something out of it. Also im mad because they said they only need 2 of us and they are going to bring some of the dallas guys which is a bad thing because of beefs between us and them.

Eric wouldnt take no for an answer, he was very desperate saying we need you guys we need you guys.


But the Fact is to bring this up at the last minute is wrong and puts stress on our lives and work !

They dont even have a booth anymore and it is sony that has taken ova.

You need to relax a little man. Your acting like they had a binding contract with you and they broke it which i am sure is not the case, also going around posting the info they trusted you with is nothing but selfish your acting like a child that did not get his way. If i was Atari or anyone else and i seen what you where doing here i wouldn't want you to do anything i would go to someone else more mature. So I'm saying this in the nicest way possible.

Let me change it up a little im not mad at atari i am mad at eric for not keeping us up to date on everything. And yes we had nothing in writing but still how would you feel. Wouldnt you be a little ticked. Your set to go to E3 waiting on the final confirmation then slowly everything crubles before your feet. Come on E3 is a big deal.
Helping atari to promote the game is a big deal, hell just being involved with anything ghostbuster Related is a big deal.

I pretty much done with it talking about my atari work.
