Basically the demo showed in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJprjsRwP70

I believe it's the first time the consumer was allowed to test this demo out though!

I traveled five and a half hours from New Hampshire to attend the NY Comic Con. Yes, I'm that crazy…

Anyway, I was in line bright and early and was able to play the game almost right away. I was immediately impressed with how great the graphics were and how the dialogue was true to the movies.

The controls were intuitive. I was zapping and trapping right from the get go. I figured out on my own that I could use the capture stream to move objects in the game. The developer was impressed that I figured this out without any instruction. I can see how that would be useful. For example, you can use the capture beam to remove a book golems head instead of just blasting away at it with boson darts. Which brings me to my next point…

The boson darts are bad-ass. It adds a level of destructability that is a lot of fun. When I hit a group of Stay Puft's minions with a boson dart, it splattered molten marshmallow all over Stantz and the rookie character. This level of detail did not go unnoticed. The developer told me you can even use well timed boson darts to wear down non-corporeal entities, but it's difficult due to their being able to move in three dimensions.

One thing that I didn't think to ask was weather you can use the capture beam to move corporeal entities. For example, if you could pick up one of Stay Puft's minions and throw them into a wall. Anyone know?

Also, I noticed some firefly looking ghost outside the windows of the building. I tried scanning it and blasting it, but nothing happened. Did anyone else notice this?

Lastly, I want to say that I'm glad the proton pack noise wasn't used every time the pack was vented. As much as I love that all too familiar “ping,” in earlier footage of the game, we heard the noise over and over again and it got rather old in my opinion.

Oh, I almost forgot, I asked him about multiplayer and co-op and unlike previous interviews, the developer told me that they weren't supposed to talk about it. I'm wondering if maybe they are having second thoughts about split screen…

Anyway, the game was awesome. June cannot come fast enough!

Yes I also tried scanning the “firefly” type ghost but could not get a good scan. Hell, I only got a partial scan on Mr Stay Puft and he broke through the wall right in front of me. I could however, as you said, shoot the little flying bugger.

Someone next to me asked and Glenn said it would be released same month as the game comes out? Can anyone confirm this.

I'm hoping for a walkthrough of the demo like we got at the comic con last yr. Where they filmed it from begining to end.
