Attention all in Northern New Jersey

Hello, everybody. I am here to try to get us to start our very own North Jersey franchise together. New Jersey only has one franchise (The Manalapan Ghostbusters) and who knows where they are located? We need someone close to us, someone who can get there immediatly. So all of North Jersey, make a pack, make a flightsuit, and get ready!

LordVego : Not to burst your bubble, there is already a North Jersey Ghostbusters franchise. Maybe you've heard of us, the JZGBs? We've been around since 1997.

In another thread I even talked/asked you about meeting/joining up with us. Once all the proper paperwork was filled out. wink

You live in NJ and don't know where MGBS are at, um they're in Manalpan. smile

Ghostbusters, New Jersey since 1997 (JZGB) http://www.geocities.com/jzgbs

The JZGB's have been fee paying and hard working members of GBI since 1997.

Thank you Mr Tully, Spengs and I have already conversed and I am thinking whether I might want to start a younger franchise for this area, or join JZGBs.

We're not always on time with paying our fees. Its not our fault really! For some reason when the temps in NJ were below 0, we don't even get one call. We think certain spectral entities may react to the extreme cold. We're looking into it though. :O

Yes, Vego and I did speak, if he hasn't already its probably best he start up another franchise. However if the JZGBs can be of any assistance, we'll see what we can do.

If you don't mind me asking, is it a money issue that you can't get at least a flightsuit?

The equipment I can understand about, it can be costly whether you buy it from GBI or just buy the parts and build it yourself.

Now getting other younger GBs for your franchise..well only suggestions I have is that you put together like a promotional flyer and/or site letting people know you're hiring. You are young, (nothing personal) I was about 15 when I was on the internet and remember well how ‘dangerous’ meeting friends you thought you knew better was. Plus maybe for the same reasons, your parents might not be keen on this idea.

Or a better one might be if you know people from school or friends from other hobbies/interests of yours, you could talk to them about GBs and the idea of the franchise. Just got from there.

Sorry Vego if I've already butted in, just would like you to succeed in the franchise area. And remember to study. “No studying.”

About the money issue part: It is more rather mixed in with having to find the parts, I live by Dover where there is a surplus I could go to, and I already have a patch, but the boots, gloves, and armpads might be a little bit hard to find. Also about the recruiting, there is only one person I could think of to get because he wouldn't mind, he has no life (hehe) but I guess it could be good to have two people.

To find the parts (especially for the pack) would probably be difficult to find in stores near you. Your best bet is just order parts or part replicas on-line from valued Ghosthead prop makers.

That's usually my solution, save time and maybe even money and order just about everything on-line. No credit card, no paypal account? These ghostheads and these sites where you can get boots, arm pads, and gloves usually will take a money order. That's how I use to order stuff when I was younger.

Or maybe I can help you out if you have troubling ordering stuff for your uniform when you have the ‘petty cash.’ If you're interested, e-mail me and we'll talk.
