Of course… nobody can tell you to wait, it's your perogative… I couldn't honestly say how many people hate him here… or at GBHQ, maybe it's mostly people overreacting… the overall impression though, even if it's not true… is the haters outnumber the supporters. (*winston)

I agree that's it's overreacting. People have threatened to “kill” me in the past, and I'm sitting here just fine. These “threats” are probably just a bunch of kids who have picked up too much jargon from action films that are making these claims. And put in the actual situation to do something would prove to be only just talk (in instances like that, however, I'd rather just have the talk).

As I've said for myself, I've given my support in buying the issues, and reserving the hardback. It's one thing if I were just waiting for the book to be released so I could pick it up later. It's another that I've already paid for it and not heard a peep about it for about a year.

I may e-mail Graham Crackers again to see if the person I've spoken to has heard anything at all yet.

I don’t think it’s hate, I think it's disappointment. It’s like having a friend who blows you out over and over and over again. After a while, you just stop asking them anywhere because you know they won’t go. There are only two people I’ve seen who have really overreacted, one issued a death threat, and the second one threatened Seb with legal action. I have yet to believe that either of these people are actually fans, so I’m not quite sure why anyone puts either of them in the same bracket as the rest of us.

The rest have complained about delays and lack of updates, which I find quite understandable. It’s nothing personal against Seb. I think that if he’d given plenty more updates, people wouldn’t have been so upset. People were more irritated about the lack of info than anything else, and unfortunately that situation hasn’t really changed. People have given up on getting the book, and they’ve given up on Seb because it looks like he’s forgotten all about us. He probably hasn’t, but that’s what it looks like. I don’t think it’s hatred, I just think that it’s gone on for so long that people have just given up.

I can understand why he’d feel reluctant about posting an update here or on GBHQ, but he’s got his own website message board he can post in, and if he doesn’t want to deal with any responses to his updates, he has an email system in place to update people. He has the means to do it, but for one reason or another, he hasn’t used them, which is a real shame because I truly think that is all that most people wanted.

That's great that you had gotten some kind of response from him, MuthaPussBucket.

The Graham Crackers guy I mailed said he e-mailed him 1-2 weeks ago, and hadn't heard from him them or any other time he's tried to, so I guess it shows that us forum posters aren't the only ones who have gotten the silent bit.

I wonder what's keeping him so busy? Regardless, I name you, MuthaPussBucket, the new Ambassador of First Contact. May your efforts bring in a new era of restored communication.
