Aykroyd on a Computer Generated GB3

Initially I thought this might overlap with the game Ayrkoyd has said he's doing motion capture for, but after listening to the interview (see PC link) he's actually talking about a CG movie, so I thought we might as well start the ball rolling in the right forum.

It should play through Window's Media Player. And it's in the second part of the interview.

Thing about CGI, is that you think of Shrek and other things like that, not Ghostbusters. I mean for it to be good, in my opinion, you need it to look realistic. Final Fantasy did that, but the story sucked. I guess it can be done, but I don't know. :-(

So, from what I can gather so far there's going to be a CGI Ghostbusters III and a game which Aykroyd is going to do motion capture for. I read that Universal has baught the rights to produce a game, but they don't make games, do they? Universal are a film company. Surely Universal are the ones who have bought the rights to make the CGI movie. I'm very confused here but immeasureably exited!

Universal is owned by Vivendi, and as VUE, they publish games. Well, they used to - VUE went to GE, but Vivendi continues to publish as Vivendi Games. Basically, it's a big mess, but, however it works these days, Universal can still have the ability to publish games. There's not much point digging too deep on such a small comment until we hear more.

CG has nothing on Live Action. But I'd like this. :-)
