I have held back on commenting on this for the reason that I did not want to react too early and get too excited. But I think this is going to be huge for the franchise. Aykroyd clearly wants to continue the GB franchise and he will be doing so with the latest technology.
This film could be huge if done well. Aykroyd's script can be very well represented by the technology but I do have concerns with the content. As some of you all said it may need to be tweeked to handle a younger audience.
Overall I am really excited for this project. The animated aspects allows for more concentration on the origional GB's which I definately think is a positive.

One thing that always depresses me is just how strongly Dan believes in all this. I mean we're not talking casual belief, or grain of salt belief, it's like a serious devotion (that DVD commentary where he says he believes spirits are the empty space in an atom is so funny). Did you all see that Carson clip before YouTube took it down? That was just about the biggest bomb interview I can imagine, when he went out there and treated it as seriously as rocket science.

Exactly how many conspiracy theories do you think Dan has? Everything that he says you try to twist into something else. Before it was that Bill and Sony hadn't yet agreed to do it but Dan said they had so that they would have to once they saw the fan reaction. Now its that Dan purposely stated something about the video game that we all know he definitely let slip because its not even official yet.
