Well, it's been a week now and no update or clarification from Aykroyd.

After listening to the interview again I think that all that has happened is Dan has called Bill to ask him if he'd do it. I think all that Dan has at the moment is a gentlemans agreement with Bill. Here's how the conversation probably went:
