The site for the SciFi channel? (*peter) While I have no real experience of it, it doesn't mean it'd be the go to place for the latest sci fi buzz all the time…

Valid point, but I'm just sayin'…

I was so stoked initially hearing the news.

I think at this point, CG is possibly a better way to go. When I met Ernie Hudson in 2004, he looked like he hadn't aged hardly at all, but I don't know if I could say the same for the other guys. Case in point: I'm stoked for a new Indiana Jones film, but I wish they had done it with a younger Harrison Ford. At least CG could keep the memories of a “younger” GB team.

And who knows? Maybe this is the coincidental push to get the Zootfly game moving along as well. Or maybe Zootfly inadvertently leaked what was already coming down the pipeline.

Either way, I'd be thrilled.

Maybe this would also be the push needed to release The Real Ghostbusters DVD box sets as the movie gets closer to a concrete release?

I've wondered that myself. If the hype from the talks of a GB game, inspired them to rethink the GB3 idea.

Thus they'll both be worked on at the same time, and released around the same time for a big dose of Ghostbusters into the media.

Weaver Says No More “Alien”, “Ghostbusters”

Talking with Entertainment Weekly, actress Sigourney Weaver says that despite teaming up with James Cameron again for his “Avatar” project, don't expect anymore “Alien” films.

“I love the character, but I think the monster, once they did the other film (Alien vs. Predator), which I never saw, but that really maxes our monster out” says Weaver.

As for “Ghostbusters”, and despite Dan Aykroyd's recently announced plans of a CG animated flick, Weaver says “I think all of us are busy doing so many things and it's wonderful all the films are so well loved and they certainly were fun to do. But I think if you do it right the first time, sometime it's better to move on to something else.”

I'm not sure how much I posted my thoughts about Ms. Weaver being in a third film over the years. Its nothing against Sigourney personally, but she's not needed for a 3rd movie, live or CGI.

Yes, she could be apart of it and off the top of my head I can think of how. She easily could be written out as well. That may depend also on how many years its been between GB2 and this new GB movie.
