Didn't have a problem with the containment unit. But if Egon's hair was blonde, that sucked to me.

Certainly not on Egon. That was one of the only things I hated about RGB along with a few others.

But don't get me wrong, I liked RGB, I just wouldn't want that style for a film. I'd reather a reboot of the show then 90 minutes of them in a theater.

I refuse to believe that. Basically that would just be RGB in CGI. God, that would suck so much as a feature film. Now there's no doubt in my mind it'll be kiddified to death if that really does happen(I doubt).

It's sad to see that we're not beyond our parent's generation yet, animated = kiddie stuff… RGB was such a great example for the opposite. It doesn't deserve this kind of reaction. :-(

I'm with the blonde Egon, as long as the movie's got the spirit of GB.

RGB had a hell of a lot of great elements to it, that could appeal to everyone, but it was still mostly aimed at kids.

I would not want the film done in RGB tone. The lowest of tones I'd even settle for, for a feature length GB film is Ghostbusters II.

cowboy bebop is animated and that is definetly not kiddy! jebus just look at all the anime and other animated adult orientated stuff! i hate the stereotype that anything animated is for kids! gah. :-@

I agree that the style of anime would likely not be appriate for ‘Ghostbusters 3’. If it were animated instead of CG, I think a style like the one used by Fox for Titan A.E./Anastasia would be a lot more appropriate… dark and moody, rich in colour and depth and using CG elements only when neccesary. Using modern tech but keeping the older arts alive. Now those were some superbly ‘mature’ animated features that also left enough for a wide spectrum audience.

firstly, look i'm still breathing!

and secondly, i wasn't comparing (or contrasting them!) the fact i put them in the same sentence means nothing you egotistical jackass! i was merely quelling the notion that all animated pieces are “kiddy”. I was not implying that they should do a GB3 in an anime style, it just wouldn't work for it! i think that it needs to hold some resembelance to the originals but with artistic liberties taken whilst keeping it dark and moody! i don't want it being at all kiddy, and i don't think any of the principle cast (well akroyd especially) would let it get too kiddy without keeping some of the things that made the original so good!

(*rant) and i don't need to take this abuse from you, i have hundreds of people waiting to abuse me! self righteous idiot! :-@
